The ‘open up’ strategy was completely wrong, because we’ve ended up with the worst of both worlds.
- A spread of the virus
- A Claytons lockdown, as restrictions come back, impacts on schooling and distribution chains etc. It’s the lockdown when you’re not having a lockdown.
PS. As far as I’m aware, no medical authority ever claimed the vaccines would give you immunity from the virus. You can be fully vaccinated and bolstered, but still get the virus and transmit the virus. The best thing the vaccination does is likely stop you from getting very, very sick.
