re: my summer The trouble is X that a LNG tanker costs 10 times as much as a new double hulled very large tanker for crude, on a per ton basis. Charter rates are 10 times higher too so only those producers with shorter steaming times to the West Coast have much to gain.
India and Asia are close to the Timor Sea though.
