Selling?
I too think that CVN would like to sell Buffalo to fund Dorado - their main game.
However, I suspect that they wouldn't get a very good price for it, as there are lots of assets in the market due to larger companies divesting producing assets at very appealing prices.
Farmout?
It is worth noting thatTo gear up to be operator is a big job - doable, but with increased risk, and likely to take (substantially?) longer to first oil.
- Advance has no interest in becoming anOperator.
- CVN is the operator of Buffalo,
- CVN is not an Operator of any producing asset
It may make more sense to farm out to an established operator to (partially?) cover development costs.
