Get more people on board, more customers if you will....
The market makers always get the news first, so it stands to reason that if the announcement is ready to be made & the big players are expecting a rush then they'll get themselves some more 'stock' to sell. (If that's what's going on we'll see it close near highs or at least above the middle)
However... if the announcement is going to deliver bad news, they'll take it up & then dump all they have. We'll see absolutely huge volume & she'll close near lows as they take every cent they can get for it.
They haven't taken it up today because they realise we're a good bunch & deserve a break! What's in it for them is the question to be asked!
