    Cheers, chill.

We now have a further underwriting commitment from Directors to the amount of $1.228m, with commitments for $13.823m. It seems the company will have money to do what they need to do.

finch, yes, re the options- they certainly are priced well enough, which could make one think there is a lid on them. No need to rush in on those options- they come in February. The trick would be to get the ords for as low as possible, to get more options.

This company had one of those near-death experiences (similar to NMS, and EGG/Photon with their deeply discounted capital raisings), but it has entered into two new agreements since the near death, so it's been doing something. The market cap post-raising will be less than what was paid for White King- $60m, I recall. As long as SYM chomps away on debt, it should be ok. New management, asset sales, etc. It's going to be a long and drawn-out story, this one.

A few major shareholders have sold out- no wonder, too. From a share price of 60c two years ago, it fell to 35c. Then came the big crash to about 32c, which is where many of us "second-leg" Hot Copper people looked at it. Then to 8c and now to 1.5c. The issues are similar to Goodman Fielder in a way- just shoving products into supermarkets- not too hard to understand, and it fights generic products, which can be tough. SYM does have great brands, imo.
