I too am inclined to that view in keeping with myriad stories about the manipulation of stock prices at this end of the market.
I take the view that the price at any given time represents the true price of the stock because that is what a willing buyer and seller are happy to transact at.
Given that, there is a case for thinking that there is some influence on the PMs especially when you hear what the CEO of First Majestic has to say and that people are actually coming to him and paying above market for his silver - this type of transaction is hidden from the mainstream.
As for inflation -there is no risk that we will be hit very hard given what is happening to costs. No one will sell at a loss for long or they will go broke very quickly and - of all impacts on price - it appears energy prices will be passed on very quickly. So agree that POPMs is set to rocket?
