A select number of BW Equities’ institutional and sophisticated investors subscribed to Cougar Energy’s shares for the first time.

I like that new institutional investors are now on the register.

I like that there is a funded strategy to realise value for shareholders from surplus mineable coal assets.

I like that there is now at least a 3 pronged business plan being 1) Indonesia as the likely first overseas UCG project, 2) compensation from increasingly positive legal procedings in Qld and now 3) realising value in the coal assets.

Wrt 3 above, there are more surplus coal assets than the one mentioned today ... selling surplus coal assets did LNC no harm.
