Based on the track record of WHL, who have been gradually giving away lumps of their resource projects in poor JV's because they have no ammunition left, I expect the ANNOUNCEMENT to be:
"PetroSeychelles" grants WHL an extension of 1 month to find JV partner".

Riveting stuff. But this is only my guess.

Best result would be to sell the entire Seychelles licences, if they can find a buyer.
But they may not be allowed to sell them. Just have to forfeit them and THEN interested parties with large cash reserves will take over by negotiating with PetroSeychelles directly.
Why get in bed with WHL? If it looks like a dog, smells like a dog, barks like a dog, then it probably is a dog.
I see the buzzards circling above this dog in its death throws.
So get back to basics; like putting ALL their efforts into getting VIC/P67 La Bella permit fast-tracked.

They got greedy, spread themselves too thin on a wing and a prayer hoping results from neighbouring Companies (e.g. Shell WA -460-P,a Duster!) would be successful and "add value" to WHL.
The market has changed. A JV for Seychelles? Doubt it.
