    I cook Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Rather a hot day here in Perth today.
Went to my favourite fish shop( Innaloo ) and got 300 grams of seafood marinara ( $ 40. a kilo ), some rather big scallops , and the usual for the rest.
Asked the charming lady for a big handful of mussels in the shell.

Marinara mix plus mussels circa $ 20.00, happy as larry.

I knew there was choritzo in the fridge along with a red onion and garlic.

Took 4 medium sized tomatoes ( home grown ), par boiled and skinned them.

Scraped and de-bearded the mussels and threw a heavy hand of annies lane chardy to steam them.
Cooked half the onion along with the choritzo and the tomatoes ,set aside and washed the pan.
Put a big pot of heavily salted water on the boil.
Everything done , kicked back and had a couple of stellas.
Wife comes through the door, says " I can smell the garlic from down the road "
I say, " ya wont get the flue then ,will ya ".
I separated the squid from the rest of the marinana mix ,cause it don't take long at all to cook.
Threw some penne pasta into the salted water, combined all other ingredients in a separate pan, save the squid .
Took some water from the pasta pot to add to the main pan, put the mussels in the same pan, then started adding the pasta, only at the end, did I throw the squid.
We ate outa the pan at the table.

Not bad, only thing I forgot was to put home grown parsley in it.

Other than that , I rated it 8.5 out of ten.

Still got some annies lane to knock off, winner winner chicken dinner.
