My two cents

Oops! I did an earlier post that said, well ..absolutely nothing at all
I'm new to HC, hence rookie mistake (with no doubt far more mistakes to come).. Also relatively new to AJX - Although I have been accumulating on the so-called 'buying opportunity' days.. *sigh*
I would like to thank @valincarter for mentioning another new poster (I noted it was their first post too, and maybe just made the same mistake I did).. Anyway, that kinda gave me the courage to open an account and join in (I hope), as I've been reading the AJX threads for the past couple of months on a daily basis. What a wonderfully informative group you all are, so thank you!
Now, at the risk of being howled down too, IMO it is the unnecessary 'extras' that are always included in the anns ie; How much a particular industry area is worth globally.. All this does is tell us what we do not have, rather than what we do. I've done many trade fairs in textiles myself, and when a Co says: 'we have arranged meetings with key decision makers' usually more comes out of them than 'leads' - What does leads mean? Could be just business cards for all we know. Saying that, I am excited about the potential of AJX - And there is SO MUCH. Just wish they would get the announcements right ..without the added fluff.
