If they get back a bunch of results and they are all dusters, then yes I think it needs to be reported. I don't think they are currently sending off one or two samples.
Companies not at this stage don't hold back initial drilling results because they are dusters. That's significant news. If DEG ,at the stage they are at, got back results that were all dusters then it would be material as it would show a new area is no good and/or the current area looks like it had hit the end of the road for mineralisation.
I just don't think your example would ever apply for DEG unless they only sent out one or two samples, which they aren't.
