I agree completely Bigmac, and would have thought this was obvious to all but the most blinkered of the faithful.

I also agree with Rod's suggestion (a while back) that post ratings should be tracked into the negative. Showing only the extent of positive responses to posts is telling only half the story. It would be easy for HC to implement and would help identify controversial/ contrarian views.
