Just on the subject of valuations I found the following article interesting:

There is a table in the article that values the top 25 social networking sites based on recent Bebo, LinkedIn and Facebook deals. You can have a look at some of the sites in the article and see how many users they have also (e.g. badoo have about 60m users).

It's worth noting the article is a couple of years old. Just thought some might find it interesting.
