STO knows that by using ESG for domgas they can divert their Cooper gas to GLNG. STO stayed out of the LNGN arena to disassociate itself from the notion of LNG potential for ESG.

The so called Independent Expert,paid by ESG which agreed to the SOA, and who will be given information by both STO and ESG in good faith is going to conclude What !

That ESG in its independent state with NO GSAs, 3 Quantitative domestic powergen MOUs and an unresponsive Marubeni with its LNGN facade should be Valued as a LNG exporter? NO CHANCE or UNLIKELY .

The IER will show ESG as it was at the point before the SOA agreement. It could infer that LNG was possible considering the LNGN but as there were NIL supply MOUs or Funding Arrangements in that area it would apply a big discount. The core valuation would be domgas - powergen and utility.

ESG agreed to a SOA with STO because that was the best that was on offer at the time. If ESG management thought other-bidders wre circling it should have made STO go Hostile rather than caving in. They didnt even try to fight.
