I wouldn’t worry about solicitors, will cost you too much. Do what you can now to seperate whatever you can into a trust controlled by you. When she has spent all of ‘hers’ she will no doubt try and squeeze as much as she can out of the ‘50/50’ assets. Just assuming of course because I don’t know your wife, just going off my observations from seeing what others have gone through.
Other posters a right in a way, it’s her money so she can do what she wants with it. But when it’s gone what then?
What’s hers is hers, what’s yours is “ours”. So true.
