Well I would argue people are less accountable now in the west than what they were.. it’s hard to tell if lying rates have increased or decreased but for mine seems people accept lying as more normalised now
Society was much stricter if you did the wrong thing, from your parents to teachers to police
Speaking to numerous people about albo lying it’s amazing how many say it’s just part and parcel and don’t seem to have a problem with politicians lies especially if it’s in the side of politics they agree with
Trump would be one of the worst politicians in recent times mainly because of his lies, I don’t remember a bigger liar maybe Hitler but people were more isolated/insulated them , what do you think of trump?
