yes agreed seems quite a few who are knocking albo for lying seem to swallow trumps BS
I definately won’t vote for Albo now for breaking his word like that…
All leaders should say they have a plan etc but if the facts change they will change their plan, it’s common sense… once you are caught blatantly lying in a position like a politician where it’s recorded and it’s a lie told multiple times it can only reduce your voter base imo
People will forget about their tax cuts come the election but the lie will be talked about over and over again… that’s why lying matters imo
Some get away with it like Howard and the gst and others like Gillard the lie seemed to stick more
Anyway I think it’s best we hold them accountable to their lies
A lot of the worst liars I’ve met in my life who I never thought would progress anywhere ended up in govt or leadership roles… makes my head spin
