We already have UPS on our equipment.
I get an email when there is a power outage from the software that monitors the UPS.
If I am home, I currently have enough time to travel to the office and drag the generator out before the UPS dies.
The tank in the current genset has about 3.5 hours run time. So I hang around.....
Also if the email is sent when I am sleeping, the current UPS would have died before I wake up.
None of this is moot.

We are currently planning the funds to invest in better backup blackout systems. Lots of businesses are at different stages of the journey, and not every business that needs it, already has it.
Autostart Genset or ZCells or some other batteries will will the end result. We could even end up simply a larger UPS system for about $6k (there are reasons why this isn't ideal though)
But ROI is not relevent.
All that is relevant is having the funds to get a better system, and better absolutely includes monitoring.
