Being factually challenged, he's probably hiding in some hole awaiting the opportunity to do the usual ramp job.
As my little canary, I am so, so happy that I avoided HOG. NSP, the other share that led me to Syd's participation here is down about 30% this year and looks like rubbish. He asked here on the HOG forum earlier this year (with a smug tone), when NSP was up about 10%, about how it was going. Well the answer is it is down and looking like garbage and still has bad management and a corrupt board (including in its subsidiaries). The parallel to HOG is on the money, as is his strategy as a guide.
My suggestion, and what I am doing, is look to the shares he posts and make sure you don't hold any. If you do, get out at any uptick. It's just a suggestion, not advice.
