It would certainly seem to me that the “whites” you speak of have had very little to do with Myanmar, no lavish military aid packages or soup for the Burmese.
Am I correct in saying that our Chinese friends fully support the military regime in place, today?
Perhaps the CIA or some other acronym may throw a few crumbs at the rebel’s for a bit of shits and giggles but most of the world wouldn’t know where Myanmar was on the map.
In Australia most of the people would only have seen the place on a rerun of Top Gear.
There is next to no chatter in the media about the place.
