One of the very large shareholders is a Chinese firm.
They are extremely proximate to the Chinese border, over which there are numerous refineries that would love their product.
I expect people could list a whole bunch more items, but my point is simply don't lose sight of the various details that differentiate this project from others.

'Reliable place to invest'. Exactly this. If Myanmar was to screw over the first major western investment company since 1950's they will essentially be blacklisting themselves from 99% of future foreign investment.

This is something they can't afford to do imo.
