Building upon the Endosomal Escape Trap, our new CSO is creating a sharp scientific focus based around the Matrix of FPPs targeting different cargoes and cell types - a Matrix Datapack. Expanding the matrix and changing the colour of the bricks adds exponential value to the phylomer library. There appear to be two key elements in the growing bank of FPPs:
¹ FPPs show no evidence of toxicity.
² Optimisation of drug-like properties of the FPPs (and PoC that optimisation techniques can be applied to future generations of FPPs).
A systematic and potent means for identifying and developing FPPs for delivery of drug cargoes into the intracellular space will create commercial value. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. The scientific focus is apparent.
