I completely agree we must never forget the vicious way Daniel Andrews and his Labor Party in Victoria allowed citizens to be attacked. The police were a disgrace. The result has been community trust in Victoria Police has suffered a huge fall despite the police's attempts to pretend they're now 'nice' or 'trustworthy'. Heaps of Victorians will never again trust them.

His lack of integrity and complete absence of accountability is well known among the largish minority who refuse to vote for socialist parties, but the Liberal Party didn't help itself by largely (some Shadow Ministers were an exception) being way too compliant. Of course the latter has to contend with heavily left wing media like Channel 9, 'The (socialist) Age' and who could forget 'their ABC'.

That said, my family was in the MYR Melbourne store this morning after Mass and it was already quite busy. John King (when he's here - not every day!) is based in Melbourne but did not mention the CBD store was still a poor performer.

I agree generally with your comment as thousands of small businesses in Victoria went broke or suffered mammoth trading losses thanks to Daniel Andrews and his myopic band of supporters, and yes, he's truly a dictator and has hoodwinked those who continue to vote for his party. We had the largest number of deaths per capita from Covid in Oz, and 800 or more died due to immense botching of hotel quarantine.
