    I wouldn't go that far. I'm just saying that year in year out, June is typically a selling season across the markets as the big boys look to lock in their profits/losses for the financial year. MYR has not done well so can be used as a loss to offset other gains. You can sell, take the hit (and maybe pay less tax if offsetting other liabilities) and re buy if you think it has lower to fall, potentially making money from selling then buying lower... all hypotheticals and everyone has a different trading strategy, the above could ruin capital gains discounts if you actually planned to hold more than 12 months.
    I also think the competition Myer and DJ's faces these years is far tougher than our once loved department stores.
    I'm no professional and the above is purely my opinion. I got out recently and I am looking to re enter - it has to be a lot lower for me to see value again.
