Yes. MYR doesn't need a magical Christmas to fry the shorts, it merely needs a reasonable performance delivering a sound dividend when it reports 17 March - which is entirely within its grasp. We will be able to walk around the stores next month and judge its performance for ourselves.
Shorting MYR near post-listing lows is the act of fools. This is the most crowded short trade on the market. They are screwed.
