if i was a shareholder of MYR i would be very annoyed.
with the website down all day they have missed out on a large volume of sales as the majority of people want to shop online.
There is no excuse for the IT dept as disaster recovery solutions are readily available and the scalability of cloud can cater for high volume traffic. Perhaps MYR needs to consider a content delivery network such as the CDN offered by Pacnet. http://www.pacnet.com/enterprise/managed-services/cdn/
