I have actually found small businesses to be the ones who seem to refuse cash the most. No worries, I just walk out and shop somewhere else. It is annoying, but I'm not a fan of businesses who act disingenuously and waste my time.
I'm sure these small businesses think they're brilliant for saving on cash handling, but I question how many other people are like me and will vote with their wallet.
I'm specifically referring to the businesses who try and hide the fact they don't take cash until after you've gone through effort to start a purchase.
