So Maxim... if you were buying the business, what sort of return...

    So Maxim... if you were buying the business, what sort of return would you want? 10%......Your interest rates on borrowing would be that! Nice profit.hahahaha

    I am not saying that selling the services business is a godd idea. But...perhaps selling a portion of it along with the underlying assets that it is servicing might make more sense. ie, a nice package allowing the purchase to not only make money on the property but the management business as well.

    People, you have to look at it both ways. No body will buy if no profit can be made. And of course things like synergies for the buyer will come in to it - but I doubt they would disclose those to the seller when looking to negotiate price.
