It has been shown in studies that invariably the spot that someone is concerned about is nothing (usually an aging spot or freckle) but when the patient comes in for a full skin check, depending on the age and sun-exposure, something else is found somewhere else on the body. so other than raising awareness generally, tech such as this is currently not that helpful for specific lesions
