myg company cheque for legal fees

Dear Members,

In the interests of full disclosure Report Card Pty Ltd (trading as HotCopper) advises we recently received a cheque for $1,100 from MYG. This amount, which was required by law to reimburse us for our legal fees, was in relation to a pre-action discovery initiated by Mutiny Gold Ltd (first plaintiff) and John Robert Greeve (second plaintiff). Report Card Pty Ltd was the defendant.

The pre-action discovery sought the personal details of numerous HC members. As is our policy, we do not roll over and voluntarily hand over the personal details of members. We insist on a judge signing a court order which demands we do so. We incur legal fees in these exchanges but fortunately the judge often (as in this case) requires the plaintiffs to pay the reasonable legal costs of the defendant. What should be made public in the context of discussion on this forum is the reimbursement amount of $1,100 was provided by the Mutiny Gold Ltd company cheque book.
