Rajiv Malik, President of Mylan, has said that he is confident that he will be completely vindicated of US state claims that he conspired to fix the price of an antibiotic by agreeing with another pharma executive not to compete in the market. Mylan says it stands behind Malik fully.
The Attorney-General of one of the states suing Malik has a different view, stating that “the text messages and emails that will be the evidence are pretty conclusive.”
