There is no doubt MYOB software have improve significantly. Since 6 years ago (Version 2 & 3) it was as bad as calculation error(s) everywhere... Since GST start, GST calculation was nightmare for many tax agent. But they have changed better and better. Myself and my clients, taxagencies continue to subscribe with MYOB until last year (It was another reason that help MYOB is because the lack of transparency from Quick book system and slow down sales).
Nevertheless, the situation have turnaround between these two companies and we have discontinue subscribe it. MYOB is still very good products and friendly systems. But they have reached very top mark, and with existing version(s) can be good enough for another three to five years. There are still many ways of improvement if they want to (if they want) such as the flexiability of stocks control system (currently they only allow average system) and debtors control, and more reporting program available etc.
I have reported to the company few time in the past 3 years about the change and they did well.
