Should have checked the Commsec info pages for the ex-dividend date! I clearly misunderstood what Myer called the "record date" set out in their results announcement. At least I have learnt something today!
Seems like the dividend doesn't get paid to anybody if the settlement is not successful as some were suggesting the broker may get it instead.
Would be interested to know how some have been "credited" the divvy when it's only supposed to be paid on the 7th of May. How are you seeing this Bosswhat?
