the balance sheet problem for myer is not just because of its debt....but also the "hidden debt off the balance sheet..."....i.e their lease liabilities.....they would be locked into very long term leases across their stores....which i reckon constrains their ability to go too hard online....
myers had its day in the sun....you can only cut costs to a bone
