My observation is that Myer items are normally sold at lower cost than its rivals, which means Myer run at a lower margin.
However, the Myer store set up still gives an up-market look, so shoppers may not feel like they get a good bargain.
Retails like HVM will have uniformed sign says big bargin, decorating them as a "discount store", but they are actually selling at much higher price tag.
Maybe Myer should learn and improve.
