You are correct re Big-W, Mr Plough.

On a very cold day some moons ago, whilst travelling far from home, I managed to spill a chair latte all over myself and needed a new pair of pants in a hurry. The only place open was Big-W. I hadn't really worn Big-W clothes before, and I don't wear jeans much anyway, but the fit was perfect and I got about 10 comments from people about how nice they were and what brand they were. Not bad for like $20, plus the Qantas points ;-)

    Bringing it back to Myer:
    - their men's wear section in the Melbourne Bourke St store was pretty good a few weeks back. Staff were friendly also and they had a number of "single" change rooms spread across the store so you didn't have to walk to the other side of the shop to actually try something on. Fair to say I gave their January sales a boost on the spot.
    - the "Cooks Collective" range of cookware is actually a Myer brand from what the information inside the box was implying. They had a pretty good bait-and-switch going on, I went in there to buy something from Tefal because that's what I usually get, but the sales and quality of the Cooks Collective stuff was so good I got them instead. Well done on that one Myer marketing team ;-)
