Don't forget BARBIE is in town and MYER seems to have the monopoly on the brand name which is now attached to a whole fashion and homewares range and the MYER windows are filled with BARBIE scenes and promotions for the movie and the fashion and home stuff MYER is stocking inspired by Barbieland, it could be a huge business scoop there and I wouldn't be surprised if when the movie comes to town Margot Robbie makes an appearance at MYR as there is so much imagery of her in the city store, not sure about the other MYER stores but probably in all. She has exclusivity at MYR as nothing at DJ's referencing Barbie merchandise, MYER seems to have it all to themselves, I think there is even perfume and cosmetics trading Barbie.. its BIG for now although just a trend but maybe moving towards christmas that will escalate into something even BIGGER after movie release, with much more to come esp. as weather warms up
