I had a lunch out in Castle Hill (north-northwest Sydney) last Friday, so popped into the local Myer afterwards to see how the northwestern suburbs and the mortgage belt shops were going... Myer was pretty packed, and I really didn't notice the Barbie display, but they had completely sold out of Tefal irons which I had been considering a new one of. I ended up buying a new French Press coffee maker instead, because it looked nice and was well priced ;-)
Walking into DJs to check what irons they had afterwards was a completely different vibe. It was empty, and they only really stocked outrageously oversized ironing machines rather than just the easy to use type. They didn't even really stock Tefal anyway (?!)
