Just a caution: much as I and others enjoy posting them as it gives a picture at a point in time, they are insufficient for a statistically reliable sample. They don't tell us the gross (or net!) margins on sales that day, how much the revenue per store was and how it compares with the same day a year ago, or in FY 2019 that was pre-Covid-19.
If we were to walk around a MYR store at 1030 AEDT on a Tuesday morning, the picture might be less rosy.
However, better to see stores busy than not, especially when some media claim 'no one/few' go(es) to the two major east coast CBDs any more. Rubbish.
Bear in mind 20 per cent of MYR's sales are online.
