I also shopped at MYR's Melbourne CBD store yesterday afternoon.
One food item I have bought on multiple occasions (great gift) was out of stock in its smaller size and only had four left of the larger size, compared to many of each two weeks ago, so thankfully, stock like this isn't sitting on shelves gathering dust.
I concur it was extremely busy: even the cafes were busy for what would be early afternoon tea but expected given (for physical stores) it should be one of the two or three busiest annual trading weeks.
Weather on Saturday 16 December is supposedly hot in Sydney and Perth, and very warm in Brisbane, but benign in other capitals so one would hope today will be another good trading day for MYR.
