WHC has confirmed that one major shareholder has requested for shareholders register. Management thinks that the information is used to contact shareholders and took their view. This excercise was conducted by WHC management as well to take the feedback from shareholders for buyback and investment decisions. This is positive in the sense that management is proactive and taking the view of passive shareholders as well.
However concern is the use of shareholders data by third party for view formation and May be for other marketing.
