Please don't apologise for the 'one liners' as many of us 'ESTJs' can only fully understand single points at a time.
In terms of property, I assume the reduced values will be a gradual decline, with the occasional extra 'crash' along the way via high unemployment, poor lending standards, higher interest rates etc...?
I'd love to coach our kids (20-->26 yr olds--The oldest 28 yr old already has the house & mortgage) to forget about buying homes for 5-10 years but what if all of above never plays out?--- They'd be 10 years behind the game.
In the event that all of above does happen, we've probabably brought them to be too 'conventional'. It would be difficult for them to resist the fashion when all their friends, co-workers etc are enjoying (bragging??) their fruits of home ownership?
