My continuing criticism of the company and its management is a public service to warn others off getting sucked into the spin and promises.
I lost money because I thought that backing people with solid past histories - particularly RC - would be a pretty safe bet.
He did a good job at Woolies, but how hard is it running a monopoly and screwing all your suppliers?
Anyway, his abject failure at MYX demonstrates a cute lack of ability and judgement in team selection!
The company paid way too much for Teva assets which demonstrates that they did not or could not even do due diligence properly.
I have also learned that despite all the hype, generics is a grubby, low margins tough business.
New genetics have a short window during which they cannibalise the prescription drug market until second and third generic competitors turn up.
It's a scale game and it's at red mill which relies on any generics company continuously investing in the next generic to replace the prescription drug coming off patent.
So, long story but I want the people who cost me money exposed for incompetence and removed.
I also wanted to warn other to avoid the company because any promised recovery is a distant hope without new board, management and probably a new business direction.
They should give up on generics and go into hardware or grog or something easier to undercut the big guys
Will MYX ever recover? Probably, but like the idiots running AGL, it won't happen without large scale write offs, new leadership and a new direction !!!
Go buy CSL - it's a seriously well run company - and stop hoping for an MYX turnaround, because nobody know if or when that is even possible.
