It almost sounds like you are blaming me for something, like my measly tiny amount of money is going to make any difference at all to what happens in the market.
You do know this is a share market right? Not a fixed deposit.
It goes up, it goes down, it goes sideways, it never stops.
I sometimes see posts people congratulating each other after a nice increase in price like somehow they have now made it..... they have reached a summit from which there is no return... I'm sorry, unless you sell, you haven't made any money, and it can always go down, and up, and down, and up..................
FYI. I'm speaking to myself too here, because I used to just buy and hold and feel the relief thinking I've done well when a price goes up, only to see my profits disappear like they never existed....because they didn't, it was just on paper.
