The shorts are betting on you getting frustrated and selling to them so they can cover at least part of the 143 million shares currently shorted. Just like with GXY they have been caught with their shorts down and now need to play games and double downs to try and get enough stock to cover what they borrowed. Looking at the past week it seems they managed to dig themselves deeper into the hole and the imminent reversal likely to resemble a lithium junior miner who just signed an offtake agreement with Panasonic.
