For me it is never easy to find the bottom of these spikes in the sp of spec stocks but I find I make much more money by not selling at a loss and holding for the next round of news, as long as all is above order whith the company.
About three years ago I tryed to work out why I was not doing any good trading and it was because I was selling as my holdings wer falling to early, before a large spike that would cost me more to buy back in.
As of late my bigest profits have come from trades that I have held at a paper loss of up to %35 only to end up whith up to %150 in profit.
So im going to continue to do what has been working and that is hold on to the companies that I buy into because of my research but dont get gready when there is a profit to be made.
