I agree, it has worsened the crisis. The crisis has made a lot of people miserable, dejected and depressed. Arguments with spouses, lots of negative stuff.
Those involved with negative gearing, the policy makers and the participants are collectively responsible for this misery. If you believe in karma, then the pain these participants have caused will be re-visited upon them.
