Coal could be, and probably is, the real sexy part of NSL. As much as I am attracted to the near-term cash flow from the developing iron ore strategy, the 'multi-bagger potential' could be in news that focuses the market on the potential for more than 15bn tonnes of shallow, flat dipping thermal coal.
One look at the climbing ICX chart (along with EER, ICX is a neighbour to NSL Eromanga properties) indicates the potential for NSL.
Catalysts include the granting of exploration permits for the Company's final 3 (of 4) thermal coal tenements. From a recent company announcement, notification is expected some time in April (clearly not far away).
And we all know how the markets views coal at the moment.
