Daily Drilling Report No#9 - 9th October 2002

Current Operations:

WBN6: WBN6 was spudded at 05:15 hours on Tuesday 8th October. At 08:15 hours on Wednesday the 9th October the well had reached 1312 m ah TD (1091m tvd). The primary target F-Sandstone reservoir was encountered as expected. Once again the well was deepened beyond its prognosed TD by 100m due to encouraging shows while drilling in sands below the F-Sandstone reservoir.

WBN6: Schlumberger to run wireline logs, run and cement 7" casing, skid rig to next well.

WBN6 is the northernmost step-out of the three wells to be drilled during the Phase II Development campaign. If successful, it will prove-up the continuation of the primary target F-Sandstone reservoir northwards over the Wichian Buri North structure in to a potentially large exploitable area.
The proposed TD of the well is 1212 m ah (1029 m tvd) within Unit III of the Wichian Buri Group. Top F-Sandstone reservoir is predicted at m ah 1112 m ah (960 m tvd) and has a prognosed thickness of 35m. If prospective reservoir sands are encountered near the TD of the well then the well will be deepened accordingly.
