Agreed. Was surprised at the discount NAB raised equity at but I suspect that’s the discount that’s needed in the current period of uncertainty to raise capital.
Suspect the discount for Qantas will be equally large when they announce their equity raising. No one’s going to pay a premium for any airline in the current environment where there is zero visibility on when domestic and international travel will get back to normal or at least to a point where airlines can at least breakeven.
